VALDOSTA - In October the color is pink to bring awareness of breast cancer. 在11月, men raise money for prostate and testicular cancer research by growing moustaches to promote the global movement known as 八字胡十一月.

Since its beginning in 2003, 八字胡十一月 has raised over $30 million globally with a significant increase of men's health issues worldwide.

While 八字胡十一月's more visible mission is to encourage men to grow moustaches for the 30 days of November, 女性, called "Mo-Sistas", are also encouraged to spread the word and get the men they know to start talking about men's health.

To get involved, men and women can register on www.八字胡十一月.com as "Mo-Bros" or "Mo-Sistas". Men begin the month of November clean-shaven, then grow and groom their moustaches and ask friends and family to support their efforts by donating to the education and research of men's health on movember.com.
